My company is looking for a comprehensive customer information management software application...? We're currently using QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions - Manufacturing and Wholesale Edition 7.0, but it doesn't really satisfy all of our needs. But will still sell decently for probably 3-5 years. Proprietary nature precludes re engineering, so is architecturally static. on business and management textbook? hello, everyone i am a computer science major, even though home schooled, but i am a professional in software development and business intelligence, i once work with several geeks trying to buildup a website offering service on financial advice, even though not successful, but close to it, i think i need to further study the finance, marketing,entrepreneurship, macro/microeconomy, so on, to use computer skill to work in financial industry in the future, starting from recent couple of days through part time distance learning, i just want to know what is the textbook for any famous world university,particularly the United States, anybody helpful in showing the Url containing such textbook information would be appreciated
What kind of job I will get after completing my MBA in Information Management? I am doing my MBA in Information Management from TASMAC, University of Wales, UK. In the 1st and 2nd sem, all the modules are common i.e Finance, Marketing, HR etc. Hence, I have somewhat knowlege of Fin, Mkt, HR etc. but the 3rd sem is purely realated with IT subjects like Enterprise Application, Information Systems Strategies, Information Systems Development, Advanced Database Technology etc. Now i am bit confused that what kind of job i will get in Software companies ( or any other industry) after completing my MBA. Human resource management? You have been asked to come in and give advice to the Managing Director of a small software company in Fife. Agency versus Corporate Marketing Compensation? After working as a software developer and then getting an MBA with a Marketing focus, I'm starting a new career. I'm considering the differences between working at an Ad/Marketing Agency in an account role (e.g. Account Executive) or working in Marketing at a corporation (e.g. product management or communications, etc.). How do agency salaries compare to corporate (short term and long term)? If agency salaries are lower, do they balance it with bonus/commission or other types of compensation? How do i get my newly developed software sold ? Hello, I have completed a software product that is a very simple and powerful point of sale software for Sales in shops, i have implemented cash and credit sales, inventory, stock management, orders, quotation, tax calculation and auto generated invoice, payment voucher and customer credit and debit accounts. The application is done in SQL Server 2005, and VB.NET its very powerful and easy to use application yet i could sold to 2 guys locally they use in their shop and they are happy. but still i have never got enough customers may be i have not much idea about marketing. Best way to find clients for custom created CRM systems? My friend has a software company abroad and asked if we can try to sell some products in the US. His company takes a software framework application (accounting / ERP) with a built in programming language and customizes it to each client. One of such customizations that they did in the past is customer relationship management systems. What will be the best way to market that product here and find customers? A simple idea that comes to mind would be to find a client and work with them on their requirements. But how to find such a client? Thanks
