how can i block junk mail from my post office box?

i get a minimal amount of personal mail in my po box but it is always filled with direct mail pieces, especially Jewel advertisements. I've spoke with USPS and they said to contact a direct marketing company to have my box removed from the list but I don't know how to contact them. Any suggestions for stopping junk mail?

1. go to yout Post office where your mail is delivered and put in a request for NO junk mail.That should solve your probelm.

4. Unfortunatly you can't specify what type of mail that you want or don't want. The Post Office is paid by mailers to deliver whatever they send to every mailbox, be it on the street or a PO Box. Sorry.
