Anyone know of a good marketing company?

I own a freelance Graphic Design business which I started up this year. www.kimberleycreative.com I only have a few clients, and am struggling with the marketing side. Can anyone recommend a good company where I can get advice from for my website and marketing tips?

  1. Best method of advertising is word of mouth. I would start with asking your clients if they have any referrals for you, or offer them a discount on future work if they send you some clients. The other thing you could try is Elance. If you register, I think its $25/month and you get access to bid on work in the appropriate category. It has generated a fair # of leads for me. The type of work you do is great for Elance because it is difficult to be beat out on bids by Off-Shore companies. Hope that helps.... if you need some Search Engine Marketing for your services come see us at http://www.tapnet.biz

  3. Hi there! Great to hear you are working for yourself! Regarding marketing, there are a number of ways you can market yourself and ways to get great tips. * Word of mouth - the best and easiest (cheapest) form of marketing, where people that are happy with you recommend you. This form or marketing takes time to develop but it does work. * Referal - like word of mouth except you reward the clients that have referred you, encouraging them to continue to do so * Upsell - sell again to your existing clients, do some research on them and suggest what else they could get designed and offer a discount if they get it done in the next 30 days * Newspaper ads - in the local paper is another way to market yourself * Charity help - offer to do work for free for a local charity then write an article on it and send it to your local newspaper and you just may get some great free publicity * Competition - have a giveaway of a design or something for local businesses and send them a brochure, letter or call them to let them know and have it on your website also * Family and friends - this is a huge resource, tell them you need more business, give them business cards to hand out * Corporates - contact your local businesses (lawyers etc) and ask if you can send them a brochure on what your services are etc Now, i checked out your website, the font on the first page should be verdanna so it is easier on the eye.
