LPG is sold to public in subsidised price? What it means? Whether oil marketing company is under loss by this?
LPG is sold by retailers at subsidised rate. Say, the refinery gives to marketing company at around Rs. 400/- per 14.2 kg cylinder but retailers sale it to public at Rs 287/- per cylinder. How the balance is maintained? Who gives money to retailers & oil marketing company?
Public Comments
- oil componies had monopoly in petropium marketing and they take huge profite from costemers. any one not thinking about it
- it is subsidized not subsidised, It means that the government is paying money to the retailer to cover their cost with little profit.
