Hello, has anyone got any ideas for cheap/free marketing and advertising ideas please?

I'm just starting out with my own company looking at insurance compensation and i would like to keep my costs down for now.

1. There are lots of free business directories which you can sign up for; search on the Internet for these. An example is on www.startupcommunity.co.uk. This is a very useful organisation and will give you lots of other ideas too. Write a press release and send it to local newspapers and magazines, via email and by post. Include a photo of yourself (landscape and portrait) if you can. A website is essential but you don't need to pay lots. Search around on the Internet.

3. Free Marketing & Advertising ideas are as follows. 1) Enrol yourself free in different forums and give advertisement of your product. 2) Enrol yourself free in different blogs and in signature use ur products / services hyperlink.
