Starting my own online business legal advice...?

Hello. I am in the works to starting my own online graphic arts and marketing consulting business which I hope to launch in January. It is going to be small for now and something I want to do while pursuing my masters degree. I wanted some advice on if I need to get it registered where I life? I will be in a different country because my husband is in the military and will hopefully have clients in both the USA and Germany. I bought books on it but they say to speak to a lawyer when it comes to the legal parts. I called some here in the area but most of them say they dont handle online business launches. I heard that if I process orders and have income I can put it on my own tax return!?Do I have to py taxes while I am having my business. What if I dont have a lot of orders? I am wondering if anyone can give me a great resource guide on my issues for starting a small internet home based business either on the web or a good book. Thanks for the help.

1. I don't know to much about the legal advice with starting a business but I know a place where you can ask attorney's questions and your business can be covered with a lawyer and they'll help with any legal advice you have.
