how do we know if a company in U.S. is legal and registered? There are some online shop that can be a scam.?

I am looking for some gadgets to buy online and there are a lot info from the web that they are registered company that sells electronic gadgets. They want the payment over moneygram and then they will send you the item. I want to make sure that they are not scam. Company name such as, Rafael Hernandez LTD, Mobile World Electronics LTD, Solution Communications LTD, Bezanson Marketing, etc.

1. You should check out the Better Business Bureau website. It shows some info about businesses and also shows complaints. BBB.org. Also I use eBay a lot for many electronic gadgets for the low price and protection from fraud if you use Pay-Pal to pay.
2. FOR SURE A SCAM real companies dont ask for moneygram or western union Only buy from companies you know in real life too (amazon.com kmart.com target.com etc)
