How do you build your home business?

I am currently building my MLM business. 2 months in I have started my downline off strong but the next hurdle is further developing my downline. I really need people who are interested in building a home business. My biggest problem is HEAPS of people want to buy the product but not the business. The product is the lotto (what could be easier???). I sell memberships to my syndicate club that gives players better odds at a much cheaper price than playing on their own. 86% of adults play lotto so thats the easy part. But how do I find people who want to build a business with me? I have a few already but more are needed. I dont like buying leads because I dont trust them to be worth the money. I deal more in household and business consumables. Things people actually need on a regular basis, and are already buying whether they deal with me or not. However since I usually can offer a better value, it's rare for me to not get someone to 'switch'. Though from the sound of what you're doing, I'd imagine it's a little harder when dealing with a luxury item/service.
To be honest you need to expand your affiliate programs to more than one. Most everyone I know of in internet marketing are affiliated with at least 5 different programs, sometimes more. I advertise on forums, write articles, free advertising sites, trade links, these are just some of the free methods I use. I also pay for some ads on top online advertising sites. As far as your downline, all you can do is encourage them by showing the advantages of selling the product to other people. How much more money they can make that way. Some will understand, others won't. Just keep moving on.
