I have never heard of a free downloadable data base, but if you go to the Chamber of Commerece, in most major cities they will have a listing of each business, when it was established, what they do, and all of their contact information (phone, fax web address and the owner's name). There are also HUNDREDS of sites where you can buy that type of information for very little cost at all. One is zapdata.com

Hi check out this site called www.jigsaw.com these guys offer contacts for money as well as free.. check out the site.. its quite a cool concept.. and these are not some general company leads but leads of directors / partners and senior managements of 1000's of companies.. i registered with this site today and was playing around for a while as well.. so good luck - Riz
