What do you like, or dislike about the NETWORK MARKETING business model?
Public Comments
- I dislike the expectations that you can have. I like the unexpected calls that may come in.
- It is only a half-honest model most of the time, and so an inherent sleazyness surrounds it. It's not straight-forward. It's not, "Buy X for Y dollars." It demands too much. A business needs to be as simple as possible.
- With network marketing, you are always restarting. You don't build something that lasts. Each program is like a fad that drops out of favor. Each time you restart, your email list is bigger so it starts to become easier but, you basically start from scratch. With affiliate marketing it takes longer but, you can build a loyal customer base that you sell to over and over again. Iyt sounds the same but, if you're selling quality products, you don't create as many enemies.
- There is good and bad in every thing. you really need to be a person who sticks to there guns.
- I LOVE network marketing because of the interesting changes it can have on your life and the interesting people whose lives you help to positively shape. What I dislike about it however, is that it's infected with too many of the wrong people who focus on aggressive selling and closing and manipulation instead of focusing on HOW TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS THAT LAST. This gives the business model a steep hill to climb in terms of maintaining legitimacy and credibility. Crooked cops don't have such a bad impact on the police force for example.
