2. The market for project management software is broad. Prices ranges from free to tens of thousands of dollars. Few, if any, companies try to span the entire price spectrum. Normally "project management software" is a term used to describe a package that is based around a scheduling engine, but there are other kinds of software that could also be regarded as project management software, such as estimating packages, add-on software, change/configuration control software, and documentation control software.
