Is Net work Marketing is legal in India? If so under what rules ®ulations?

Do Net work marketing requires someone's permission and is regulated by any act ?

1. As far as i know there is know such government act for network marketing in india. But some company have made an association called IDSA (Indian Direct Selling Association) which is affiliated with DSA (Direct Selling Association) which is working globally. and to be the member of this association one has follow their rules and they normally do not match with the other MLM companies which r running locally with not much code of conducts. but according to my knowledge there is no such rule in india to check these money making companies to stop there work and safe people in india.
