Fax and SMS marketing?

I'm in the process of setting up my own marketing company and want to offer high volume fax and SMS marketing as two of my services. Naturally, I want to know the cheapest way of doing this, so does anyone know the best reseller plans, or of the best software, so that I could do it myself?

1. Beware of the Data Protection Act and make sure that you check it out with the Telephone Preference Service and the Fax Preference Service - most of this stuff isn't legal any more! Easy money - but could be expensive if you fall foul of the law!
2. when people send me solicitaitons on my fax machine I throw them away. I make it a point not to even look at the paper its annoying
3. Fact: SMS and Fax marketing are only successful when people opt-in. They have to sign up for it, for it to be successful. You will waste your money if you dont follow this advice. Check out the book "Punk Marketing" it has a full chapter on SMS and Fax marketing. It is full of stats on SMS and Fax when they are done right, and wrong.
