Is there a method to show how many times a certain term was searched for on google/yahoo?

For instance, for marketing purposes say I wanted to know how many times people searched for "weight loss products" on major serach engines. I may be open to purchasing software that can track this information if the info isn't available for free.

2. Look for their GTrends wordtracker to, it's basically the same as the above posters link, but it also uses google trends to estimate daily traffic, just another option from the same people.
