Do I have to wait a certain amount of time to switch real estate brokers?

I signed up Wed as a Real Estate agent with a small real estate company in my area. I filled out the paper work, gave them checks to send off, they took my picture and I received business cards. I was told to come back on Monday to set up my laptop and phone line to their network. I am still not up on their website. There has been no word on training me on anything. In the interview I was told that once I sign up there would be one on one training. Also I see that they only gave me a portion of the agent manual at the interview. Now that I have the full manual, I see that there are "protected" farming areas. I feel like I gave up $1,000 for 50 business cards. I don't even feel like an agent. I am making my contacts list and trying to put together my own business plan and marketing. I am just afraid that I will not know what I am doing. I think I went with the wrong company. Do I have to wait should I decide to change brokers.

  1. I just started with a small real estate company a few weeks ago. I know it can be overwhelming I read the manual and got my business cards but I still dont have my own computer or phone I use the other agents phones and a computer on an empty desk but In the state of pennsylvania you can quit to go to another company but once you get hired at another company you have no longer than 10 days to get your license switched over under your new broker. I just want to gain some experience before I move to century 21 so I figured I start small.
