I used to be run a marketing agency as a sole trader and a former client contacted me regarding legal matters?

A former client of mine contacted me and said a company are chasing them for fees owed for images I used on his website. Bearing in mind that my business shut down in 2004, and although they have contacted them regarding the fees(as it was their site) will I liable for any fees from the company (the one demanding the fees) if they were to come after me now? Will I be liable for any legal action from them?

1. Uh, you might want to find yourself an attorney. Your former client can, and probably will sue you. Was there are written agreement with your former client? Did you disclose where you got the images you used on their site? It was your responsibility as the service provider to give full disclosure to your client - you didn't, you are burnt toast. At the time of the incident, you were in business and since your former client knew how to contact you...his/her attorney has the same information. Fix it or pay later.
