Is Multi-level marketing legal?

Is it legal? Have you been in MLM/? How much do you believe it?

1. No. Over the years scammers have taken advantage of it and have made it a 'scam' The real ones are out there still.
2. It is legal, but only those at the top are the ones making real money.

5. Many of the companies are listed in lawsuits. Many also have a team of lawyers to keep them operating on the border of the law. Most illegal activity in MLM is done by the distributor/rep. I would venture to claim that the majority of participants cross the border of the laws. Is it legal? It is the same as most sketchy marketing tactics. Some relate this type of marketing to the quick weight loss schemes and infomercials that sound too good to be true. Do I believe in it? I do not. I do not think it is healthy to attract the "naive" in business. Have I been in MLM? No. I have done extensive study on the industry.
