How do you get clients for a brand marketing company?

I would like to know how to bring in clients. Should I send out mailers, go introduce myself and my company, call, etc? I would like to know the best method for bringing in clients. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

1. Depending on your marketing budget. I would write a personalize letter with an offer and send to 100 prospects. Write another letter with a different offer and send to another 100 prospects. Then I would track the response and see which is doing better. And keep repeating this step until I can get more clients at less marketing cost possible.
