Is it possible to train to become a network analyst with out having an IT related degree?

I have a degree in business and marketing but am considering a career change to become a network analyst or adminstrator. Do I need to already have acquired an undergraduate degree in IT or can I have the option of training through microsoft or any other way such as on the job training?

1. you just need a good network analyst to teach you...you'll need to have a very good understanding about computers too.
