Why do Directors who tend to side line software process and instead emphasize marketing and administration ?

are painfull for subordinates and how should one manage their jobs under these reckless and fastidious managment and handle their tasks into precision?

You are obviously a technical and creative genius who can do far more with software than I could ever imagine and probably have an IQ 60 times multiple than my own...however... IF YOU WANNA GET PAID WE HAVE TO SELL THE STUFF DON'T WE??? This is where the marketing comes into it. This is all about selling - it's not an area I presume your interested in or bothered about (and why should you?) But if we don't get out there and market the software then no-ones gunna know about it and we'll all be out of a job!!! Try to understand the different functions within a business and why they will never be exactly the same as yours. The fastidious management might be a pain in the a** but without them, who's gonna sell it and bring the money in? A really good company director doesn't give two stuffs about the software process, they are interested in selling as much as possible as profitabily as possible. That's how you can afford to eat and have a roof over your head at the end of the day!
