Does anyone have any marketing tips on how to advertise my Tile Business to get new customers after moving? ?
I recently moved to the Lehigh Valley PA area and in the past I have had to do almost zero advertising when my Business was located in NJ. Almost all my jobs are word of mouth. Now that I have moved I have to try to get my business started again in this area and I'm not sure quite how to go about it. Should i use phone book ? free web sites? money mailers/ coupon books? I have tried to post a few messages on Craig's list but I have not gotten to many responses. Anyone with any good advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Art www.AtlasTileLLC.com

- Well I would consider a flyer that can be placed on the windows of cars in the parking lots of a chainstores like Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes. You might also consider furniture stores because the people who shop there are redecorating their homes. Leave some business cards at carpet stores and with new home builders. You can also get business cards and place them on the drivers window of cars parked at the home stores. Have some small lawn signs made and place them on the corners of busy intersections. These are inexpensive and even if they get picked up hundreds of cars will have passed by.

- One way to get your tile business to have the best exposure is by writing a specification and review and posting it on the web to leverage on the power of blogs, RSS feeds, podcasts.
