How can i give away FREE advertising on my website?

I have a new website, www.iluvmywife.co.uk, which i will be marketing heavily over the next few weeks. I'm having trouble filling the advertising spaces along the side even though I'm offering them for free! Where can I go to find appropriate advertisers to make the site look better?

Although you may be offering for free people like to know in some way that you are getting loads of visits ; you may want to use a hit conuter from google or another source. and the best place to get loads of people for this type of website is joining social networking sites like Bebo, Facebook, Hi5 to get loads more people interested. Do that and when you get loads start charging. I have checked your site. In the mean time I do suugest applying for and start using Google Adsense https://www.google.com/adsense/ you put their ads on your site and you earn per click you get on the ads - rules always apply. See if Yahoo has something you can join or be a part of to earn, in the mean time too. :)
2. Hi! You don´t want to fill your site with too much advertising, the site will look cheap and people will get confused and won´t do anything but leave. I recommend you setup an optin newsletter where you give valuable information about your business, new products and services... Offer a valuable freebie to get people to sign up. Add only a few banner to your site, the less there is options the better.Google Adsense is also a very good option if you have a content rich site. Affiliate marketing is basically a web-based system where you (as an affiliate) get paid for referring sales or customers to another business. Most of these business provide quite good support for their Affiliates, including html codes, ads images. After you signed up as their Affiliates, you simply use their codes and images for your ads.
