Please tell me where to begin with affiliate marketing..?

I want to make some money from internet. as far as i heard, affiliate marketing is the best way to make money online. but I don't know how to begin.. what I need is a proper information about, how to begin affiliate marketing,,,! please help me.. My parents can't spend for my education now .. If I don't make some money, I have no way to pay for my education or internet connection. That means I'm destroyed.. Please help me...! thanks...!

  1. First of all, affiliate marketing is NOT a get-rich-quick scheme. It is a legitimate business, composed of tens of thousands of extremely hard working, intelligent people, many of whom have previously spent many years in high-level positions. I practiced law for 26 years before making a career change, and entered the world of affiliate marketing 8 years ago. If you are serious about this career - it is NOT a hobby - you must be prepared to spend a tremendous amount of time, if you intend to succeed. Some people do participate in affiliate marketing on a part time basis, but it is few of these people who actually succeed without a total commitment. You can get by with a significant knowledge of HTML, but to really do well, you also need to know PHP and MySQL Also, as the key to success in affiliate marketing is now CONTENT, you need to have significant writing skills, that include not only a good writing style and the ability to do research, but also a perfect knowledge of spelling, grammar, syntax and punctuation. It is not promoting get-rich schemes, and it ABSOLUTELY is not MLM (multi-level marketing). It also is NOT spamming email accounts or forums. 2d Edit to add: All of the people who have posted since me are promoting either scam programs or are giving wrong advice. Most of these are not affiliate marketing (surveys, etc. - NOT AM). Yes, at some point you may want to join Commission Junction, but you are not ready for that yet. If you read and read at ABestWeb you will see two things contrary to what these people have said: 1) CJ is not the best affiliate network, start with Shareasale, then consider others, including CJ, Linkshare, Google Affiliate Network (formerly Performics) and Advantlink, but stay away from Clickbank; and 2) Free sites and free blogs are worth every cent you pay for them. You cannot achieve consumer credibility to build sales and you cannot get decent search engine placement with free sites. You need to build sites, including blogs, the correct way and PAY for hosting. You can, however, get very good hosting for multiple sites, starting at no more than $10 per month.

Secondly, choose good programs such as Moyea Software (Regnow Vendor ID: 17200) to affiliate. Thirdly, design a simple site to help you market your affiliate program. Of course, if you do not have a site, you can try the following way to promote your affiliate program. Blog promote: you just need to register a free blog, then you can promote your affiliate program via your blog post.   4. Hi there Mr Danny, Affiliate marketing is an excellent source of income but only if you know what you're doing. Many would-be-affiliates either lose a lot of cash, or give up too quickly. You will need to sign up to the likes of commission junction, paydotcom and clickbank to start. Then you will need to learn how to effectively promote the products and services you are selling. Like another poster said it is not a hobby and you do need to spend at least 1 hour a night, 5 nights a week to have any kind of success. I see that you are still in education - don't let this think that you can't do affiliate marketing. I know some 13 year olds who make a LOT of money on the internet. A blog is a type of software that helps you post (display) small articles on the web without having to set up a website. Most software for blogging are free. Go to http://blogger.com to see some examples or set up a free one. What's the point of blogging? Well, you can start talking about a specific topic eg beahc vacations. The you promote your blog and get traffic (visitors) to it and build a relationship with your readers. Then if yor recommend a product or a holiday package from a company some of your readers may buy. If you are an affiliate for tht company, when somone buys you get a commission. The company pays you directly. So selling (by promoting or recommending) products from other companies that you are registered with as an affiliate is called affiliate marketing. You can do affiliate markeitng with or without blogging. There are a huge number of ways. Can you make "quick" money, from affiliate markeitng? Yes and no. It is possible to make "quick" money but not for someone totally new. When you know what you're doing, you can do anything quickly. First you need to learn about affiliate marketing. And they continue to jump from one program to another. Literally millions of people go on program hopping for 2 or 3 years and spend thousands each and earn nothing. Don't be one of those.   8. yes there are plenty of ways to make money online. some cost money others dont! i joined a program thats makes me $40 a day almost everyday! not everyday, but most! it is free to join and it works. as much time as people spend on the internet doing research on "how to make money online" they could spend half that time with this system and actually see an income! and do it for free! but remember this, sometimes you have to take a chance, and you have to put in effort. it's not going to fall in your lap! my advice is to check out this link, join the program and actually become a member. try it for a good week, if you dont think you can make $40 a day, quit! either way you wont be out any money, and the info and tools you get from the members page is insane! but, thats just my thoughts! http://theworkingmansplan.blinkweb.com
