Does anyone know a place where I can get free Internet Marketing tools?

I really want to know this because it looks like some people are making good money with this "IM" stuff so if you know, thanks. What I really want to know is: Do you have to invest some amount of money at all to become successful in this business? I do have some money but it seems risky and i can never tell when a site is a scam or not. Do the guides that some websites offer really help? This info would be greatly appreciated. 1. Hey, First, getting started as an "Internet Marketer" is much, much more difficult than starting out as an "affiliate marketer". I made $20k last month from affiliate marketing. I do want to be considered an "internet marketer" - but that's down the road a ways, and not necessary right now. Now, I'm not sure what you mean by "tools". What kind of tools are you talking about? Hello there Not sure what you mean by free IM tools, but if you are just getting started you might consider squidoo.com, and blogger.com You can use them to market your info products or affiliate products You should consider engaging with an internet marketing mentor to help you avoid all the trials & errors...you don't have to spend a dime to find an IM mentor buddy....

4. Hey, I am trying to experiment with Internet Marketing / Affiliate Marketing right now and I gotta to tell you, it is fun. I do this out of curiosity since want to know how to use the Internet as the medium. I set up the web site SVelocity. com at http://am.svelocity.com to collect Affiliate Marketing info on the Net so that those who are interested can search and share the info with others if necessary. My site is pretty small right now since I just got it up. The money invested in it is very small. Basically, it is boiled down to domain registration + hosting service. The domain registration is $15 / year and the hosting service is around $10 / month. That is about it for getting the site up. Once you log in, the hosting provider should be able to provide you with web site application template such as Joomla to get started. Once you get to this point, then this is where you will really need to learn Google Adsense / SEO / Keyword, etc. Even though the Affiliate Maketing is just a side project for me, the reward is great. Since I have been a corporate e-commerce developer all my life, I rarely deal with SEO / Keywords, etc. The corporate web sites are all internal and highly object oriented (e.g: Java / SOA). With Affiliate Marketing and PHP scripting, it is a whole new world and the added experiences from doing the Internet Marketing is priceless. There are various sources that you can check out for IM.
