Online businesses a real success?

Traffic and target customers/Marketing online. I know you can pay to advertise, but is it a guarantee if you pay for the advertisement service? I'm trying to rack up enough income to where I don't have to work full time at my dead end job anymore. Sorry, not trying to sound ungrateful for having a low income job but I'll never get anywhere with it, Manager and that's it. Manager doesn't even pay that much. It's a Hell on Earth job. Not because of the work, but because of the hopes for the future, and slaving the rest of your life for a quarter. It's depressing. I blame my parents for being poor. If I had a silver spoon, I'd have some money to play with like the other rich little kids. LOL I'm not going to work like some of these people do, and their bodies be broken down from repetitive every day working at these dead end jobs. F- That! I'm trying to get some dough. The legal way though. I'm 31 years old, I see people barely getting by.

Maybe you should have went to college.
It is hard. Very few sites work with the hands off approach: you advertise to drive people to your site, and you expect them to buy without ever talking to you. And most advertising methods do not work.
Sign up with Google Adsense - you get paid if people follow the links shown on your website!! Can really add up if you have a site that people love to go to. (And you don't have to pay for it!)
