2. Researching what MLM is about and how to look at a compensation plan should be a prerequisite to choosing the right opportunity for you. You will get many people telling you theirs is best. How will you know what is best for you? Best Regards!
3. That all depends on you. What type of product and/or services do you want to provide for? Do you want a company that "only" has the MLM business model, in which all companies out there have, including Sears, Walmart etc. Or do you want to join a company that has both sides to it. One you can build your own business without the MLM model (even though the model is there, but you don't have down lines). Do you want a business for yourself, or do you want to work for someone else and be limited to the amount of income you want? Questions you really need to ask yourself. If you think about it, the American business model is build the same way! Welcome to Corporate America! Get a peice of paper out. Take any corporation to use as an example. On the top of your paper, draw a circle. This circle represents the Owner or partnership owners, Then write two circles under that (President/ CEO) and the Vice President. Write a few more circles under that and you have corporate management positions. A few circles under that and you have store managers, a few circles under that and you have store department managers, a few circles under that and you have sales reps. People don't realize that but unless it's a one man show no hired help, no independent representatives, everyone works in a pyramid! So now, you need to deside if you want to continue to work in the MLM model that you are in now, or do you want to go into business with a company and have the opportunity to make more, then what you would be limited to working for someone else. If you'd like some really good companies to look into, that have the MLM model that you can go into business for yourself, or have a business for yourself and not use the MLM model for yourself, then I suggest you take a look at this article on several home based business opportunities. 4. I think it would be in your best interest to study the industry prior to seeking a company. Knowledge about the industry and the business model will help you to make the decision for yourself. Anyone can tell you that theirs is best. The right opportunity requires due diligence. Having someone else tell you what is best is no part of due diligence.
