HELP! Marketing Ideas.... and should what kind of promotions should we offer?

We have changed our business name from Discount DNA to Genetic IDentity. What do you think? We do DNA TEsting of course paternity etc... Any ideas on where to market? Also I would like to offer promotions like a free gas drawing or something. Any ideas. We would also like to help in the community an ideas on that? Thank you to all who answer. We are trying to bring customer service and genuine care back to american businesses. I think consumers should get 100% great customer service for their hard earned money! :)

1. Planned Parenthood - see about working with them Local convenience and/or drug stores I would advertise in local papers that target who are likely to use your service. Are you competing with doctors' offices? If not then you could see about working with them. I would look for opportunities to advertise and get involved with anything that relates to children and families.
2. Well, I found as a new owner...foot work around the area with other stores, communities, and flyers. I also started going on line to see what type of events where in the area and walked around and handled out my flyers and even gave little treats to the communties stores, other vendors and I drive around with a sign on my car advertising the company. Trust me, giving a free gas card is excellent idea but socialize on the street or events with other people is priceless. Good luck and dont give up. The events in the surrounding the areas works wonders!
3. Paternity testing???...... That easy... Send an advertisement to every family court / divorce lawyer in the phone book. Send each a few business cards for them to hand out to clients....
