How do we encourage agents to sell our children's toys?

How do we recruit agents to sell our wooden toys? We have a children's toy catalogue coming out soon and need agents across the UK to sell our beautiful hand-picked toys. 1. have you tried getting toy shops to do it for you ... when i worked in Harrods people would make an appointment with the buyer for the department where the goods could be sold and they would try them out on a sale or return agreement to being with if it worked out then they would stock them or at least a few them then make special orders as needed
2. Give them an incentive hun! Party planners, Mums at home, etc would love the chance of doing something like this, and you would probably find word gets round much quicker this way. How about putting up a notice in your local job centre, supermarket, doctors surgery, sell the agents job on ebay for £0.99 and ask them not to bid et al, and if this brings nothing, you can place an ad in Thursdays Daily Mail. Marketing is expensive, but there are other ways, it just takes effort and resoucefullness. Good Luck
