I'm Canadian, I work in network marketing, all my business is on the phone and internet, can i live in the USA?

I would like to live in Hawaii for a few years. Can I legally live there and continue to work my business (I make great money)? What kinds of visa's would I need?

  1. There's a couple of different types of special visas for self employed Canadians and for Canadians who work mostly with US customers and clients. Google them and do some research. Sorry I dont remember the types of visas, I was just researching a while back for my "boyfriend. EDIT : Here is a little something in relation to what I replied : The best choice for a Canadians (Citizens, not landed immigrants, since they can't get TNs) is always the TN since its the most efficient. TNs may be self-employed. We have represented several self-employed TN professionals with success at the border. Key points. 1. The applicant needs his or her own Canadian business. 2. The applicant needs a business arrangement (e.g. contract) with a U.S. business. 3. The applicant cannot have a significant ownership interest in the U.S. business. Most of our self-employed TNs are computer systems analysts and management consultants. Many of them hold multiple TNs with multiple U.S. businesses. _________________ Christopher G. 2. No stay in Canada and watch hockey...
  3. i don't see any possibilities for you for now... you need either a work visa or an immigrant visa. for both, you need a petitioner. a US citizen relative (spouse, parent, kid, sibling) or a US company. seeing as you are your own boss... i don't think you'll find a possible employer unless you forgo your business to work for someone else. one possibility left is a US citizen relative. that's about it.
  4. do you mostly sell stuff, or do you mostly recruit? if you mostly recruit, don't worry, just get a tourist visa and do the sight seeing while you help Americans ( and people from all over the world) start their own business. if your business is mostly selling, be careful, but since you do everything from the phone and internet it should not be a problem. Welcome to the USA, wish you were in my business.
