want to get into affiliate marketing are they all scams like click bank?

I am nervous about doing affiliate marketing, I am reading that click bank is a scam, are there honestly lagitamate programs?

1. Before you sign-up for ANYTHING Please do read the following (see link) This affiliate marketing thing is more often than not a SCAM! Please do ask, what product or service does the business deal in? where does the MONEY come from? What is the structure and business model of said "business" Ask questions, DEMAND ANSWERS lets roll! .
2. Be nervous and respect the education you will need to do well with click bank and many other affiliate marketing programs. There is an article on squidoo that will at least help start your education through some free video tutorals. Good Luck and don't jump in too fast.
3. Affiliate marketing is not in and of its own, a scam. However there are unfortunately some dishonest people out there who do create affiliate marketing scams. Clickbank is not a scam, however it is the user's responsibility to research the product and specific affiliate program to make sure it is legitimate. There is always someone who had a bad experience with a product, decides it's all someone else's fault and publishes "scam" reviews. In my experience though it is often the person themselves who has made a mistake or has unrealistic expectations to begin with. When starting out with affiliate marketing, you don't want to just jump straight in without learning the basics. There is lots of free learning material available, so I would recommend having a good look around at some good training material before starting a site. 4. there are lot of honest programs out there... unfortunately the marketing and the over hyped results of few affiliates create the impression that it is fool proof and that it is easy and that anyone can make a fortune... those are all lies and exaggerations.
