- Can anyone give marketing tips? I'm working for a food manufacturing company and i was recently assigned to marketing products and hopefully generate sales and build relationships with key personalities. It feels like testing new waters again for me.. I like the fact that you are going to build relationships. I've always thought that is really what selling is - that and developing solutions. The only tip I have is to always enter a client's organization at the highest level you can to sell. Yes, you will be "referred down", but that's OK. They will look at who referred you. :) Get 180 Pre Designed Money Making Websites With Your Paypal ID Payment Button On Each Website. Includes Free Hosting. - "I am taking marketing next year so that Abdul's Chicken and Chips can be the next McDonalds." Well that's literally impossible since there's only been about 25,000 different food francises that have done that. Second, why would americans accept "Adul's"... I mean that's a parody name you'd find in a movie. Third, why would someone on Yahoo answers have the knowledge to out market mcdonalds and just give it away here, to you, a stranger, for free. Sorry, nothing personal, but it's BIG TIME TIME for perspective.
- First of all "Location, Location, Location." That's the secret to starting a retail store. Go to where McDonald's is and get close. You'll probably already see Burger King and other competitors at the same street corner. Second, once you open your doors start collecting the name and email address of everyone who comes in to try your stuff. Give them an incentive like a drawing for a free lunch. Advertise in the local school or community news letter (like a home owners association news letter) Create a web site where people can order and prepay on line. Send out broadcast emails to those who "register" on line and in person. You will build a "cult following." I could go on and on....
