If the free market system is less adequate than government central planning,?

why did it take 6 weeks, a government task force, and somewhere between $25 and $50 BILLION dollars to figure out that the free market solution gave us the right answer; GM should file bankruptcy if they can't compete.

1. What free market? What country do you live in? This is the United States of AmeriMexicArabica.
2. Because no one wants to admit that the government had no frigging idea the economic turn down was going to effect us like it has. They did not want to admit that there decisions caused it and they thought for a few billion they could make it go away. Not. What I would like to know is who new what and when.
3. The whole scenario that has been playing out before us was to grow the power and intrusive control of the govt over the people. It has worked. O is now telling people if they can get bonuses, fly in corporate jets, or even keep their jobs. It has never been about stabilizing the market. It is about redistribution and control.
