Is selling Avon a multi level marketing type of selling?

I was considering selling Avon, is Avon a multi level marketing type business where you have to promote other people under you in order to really make good money? Thanking all in advance for your answers.

1. Avon is a MLM but they have 2 options that you could be successful in. You can either sell or recruit, either way ladies are making a full time income with it. It just depends what you feel more comfortable with pursuing. I personally feel more comfortable with helping ladies like yourself get started with Avon so I have been more successful at that. But I have ladies on my team who don't want anything to do with recruiting and they make a killing on their sales. Let me know if you have any more questions.
2. Yes. Most companies want more "buyers" for their products. Avon wants more "sellers". Within one month of joining, the company will have hired 5,000 more "sellers' who are all competing with you. That is a sign of an MLM company.
