i'm planning on joining a company that uses multi-level marketing to sell their products...

1. I think you'll come to regret it. I know several people who did that, and not one of them hasn't. There are better ways to earn a living.
2. All I can say is 'good luck', because you're going to need it. MLM is faulty, simply because there are too many people trying to make a living off of one product before it ends up in a consumer's hands. It's basically a pyramid scheme.
