The owner of a private company I work for is requiring future employees to sign up with a MLM company. Legal?
He's requiring that all future employees sign up with MonaVie, which is a pyramid scheme. Is this even legal, and what can I do to stop this?

- Pyramid schemes are illegal, so yes, if what you say is true, the company is violating the law. Try calling the police or the DA.
- A MLM is different than a pyramid scheme, MLMs tend to be legal (until the bottom falls out that is) It would be legal and if you didn't want to sell their cheap paper or energy drinks, or what ever, then you should find a Job Elsewhere It would also be pretty bad managing on his part
- The best person to ask would be an attorney. I don't see how it could be legal, but then again I'm not an attorney. MonaVie is not a "pyramid scheme" though. It is a legitimate network marketing company. Not one I'd recommend though, because there are already too many companies out their selling magical, cure all juices.
