can massaging the tips of your fingers together helps hair growth (on your head)?

I read somewhere that massaging your finger tips promotes hair growth and reverses balding. this seems far fetched but normally these hair growth things are trying to get money out of desperate men. This is free so has anyone tried this for a while and what was the out come? Or has anyone tried something else that has worked? no marketing responses please, you'll be wasting your time!

2. i just let my hair grow naturally. I heard that this technique makes your hair get greasier.
3. I tried a cheap one that seemed to work, it was a mixture of olive oil. coconut oil and castor oil, and a table spoon of kerosene, I didn't fancy the kero, it may have been to help all the others to mix better. The recipe also suggested a perfume.
