I need help with marketing ideas for my event for the 30 October 2009 and what will please people?

I'm a professional bellydancer and I have this event which consist of my professional students and I performing for 30-45 min live performance, cold buffet for people who purchase ticket in advance and from there onwards till 1am its going to be a disco night. there a bar and live DJ...I was thinking to incorporate multicultural music not just middle eastern..however I'm just starting off and really want to work hard to make this work but I do not have the money to do all the expensive marketing..I even want to have a website and be able to just run a normal business but from my own money... I have few ideas on how to market myself for free and the only cost will be for flayers..help and advice please..it will be appreciated.. 1. Make it an halloween gig with witch belly dances etc ....simple flyers in local post offices,news agents(let them sell the tickets for you ) ...local radio and local papers or even local record shops or clothes shops ...also try advertising with little road signs ..ask your mates to phone round their freinds ...face book it to your freinds...good luck

3. Have you thought about using Twitter and Facebook? It's free. You can create a group or a fan page in FB and you can on both "add friends" who have similar interests to what your event is about.
4. Give all your student elec copies of you poster/advert etc and get them to distribute to friends,s , schools, work notice boards etc, maybe do a competition, maybe offer a free trial session, try PR, make good photot session stuff for publicity before/after.
