1. the best way of finding prospects in any business is to go out and talk. you can't just sit at home and expect people to come to you. secondly you must have the product to sell instead of looking for people to recruit. and make sure whatever you are selling, you understand it and believe in it, if you dont' beleive in the product, you can't convince others to join u.
2. Everyone you come in contact with is a prospect. You just get the info to them and they will decide whether or not they want to know more. You just work with those who are interested and don't wast time with the others. There are many ways to find prospects. People you meet on a daily basis, networking events, friends and family, referals from existing customers, referals from centers of influence, purchased leads, etc. No one method of finding prospects is going to be the "silver bullet". Use them all. I joined Pre-Paid Legal about two years ago and yes I am successful.
