Ignite MLM - Is Ignite a scam or a legitimate business opportunity?

I'm reviewing a bunch of business opportunities and would like to know what others sincerely think about this network marketing company.

2. It doesn't appear to be a blatant scam. There are two things I like about them. They pay residual income and have a product everyone needs. I do have several concerns about them though. I've only researched the info for GA. They have a lot of complaints with the BBB and about 1/4 of them are unresolved They are right in the middle of the GA Public Services Commission Scorecard (measures complaints against service providers) for the month of September. Extremely limited market. They are only available in TX and GA and are not available in all areas of those states. That creates potential opportunity if they can expand, but also has the potential to cause problems. I personally don't use natural gas and only know a few people who do. They have no competetive advantage. Natural gas is natural gas and if I were to use it I would buy from the company that gave me the best price with the least amount of hassle. Based on BBB and GA PSC data they don't appear to be that company. The only advantage that they seem to have is that they offer a biz opp. Must recruit to get promoted in the comp plan. There could be some potential legal issues here. Compensation is poor. If I sell someone a service that they may pay $100+ a month for, I expect to receive more that 25cents a month. Even by recruiting and get promoted in the comp plan you only make a couple of dollars a month. It seems like most of the money in the comp plan is in the form of leadership bonuses. In order to receive those bonuses you must recruit. It doesn't appear that they pay simply for the act of recruiting, but requiring you to recruit to make any real money and the fact that the bonuses paid out probably cannot be covered by their profit on the sales of natural gas so it must come from the fees paid to join the company leaves them walking a very fine line. Energy, like telecom services, is one of those industries that I rely on heavily. If I feel I am paying a fair or comparable rate and am not being hassled by the provider I will not change providers not matter what kind of deal they offer me.
