How can I convert my ideas of marine navigation into IT language and develop into software product and profit.

I have 29 years in the marine industries and I can forsee there is a good business opportunity to develop a software to assist mariner onboard in navigation rask. I know exactly what user need the software to do for him. I can design to tailor for each navigational task which commonly used onboard from purchasing, data management, voyage planning, onboard administration, notices to mariners, logistic and many other relevant task to assist mariner onboard. I can design either as standalone software or online service or webportal. I have gathered years of research data and ready for development process. As marketing is concern, I have not seen such software nor service with complete package available off the shelf. It is huge market potential with user from the ship, shipowner and Admiralty supplier around the globe (85,000 ships & 77,000 companies). The software will help the Mariner to perform efficiently and thus, promoting the safety of life at sea and help pollution prevention.

1. Look for a programmer, IT guy (gal) and give them a percentage.
