Website Idea, Need Help!?
I plan to make website compiling event information around my local area. Events include major and popular concerts, sporting events, lectures, art shows, etc. I plan to finance the project through Google Adsense and Affiliated Marketing. What is a good hosting company that would allow me, a beginner web designer, to build a great-looking website. I would like to have premade templates and stock photos I can use for free so all I have to do is write text, upload photos and videos, and provide libks. I have been using Bluehost.com, but they so many options on the CL panel, it is quite confusing. Homestead.com has the best website builder out there but in terms of hosting and the options bluehost.com offer are not listed on Homestead.com.

- http://www.godaddy.com cheap, reliable theres a feature called 'website tonight' which is a cheap addon for websites that allows you to make websites with premade templates in CSS and most templates even have a space for advertisments
- you can get review of seven good webhosting company from http://host.userstyle.org/
- I think the best solution for you would be to go with an open source CMS like Joomla, PHPNuke, Wordpress, or Drupal. http://www.GotHosting.org can provide you all of these to use with just a couple of clicks (2 mins to setup). Plans start at $2.50 per month and you'd get unlimited domains with unlimited email and ftp accounts.
- I would go with Hostamina.com - they will help you with any questions you have and point you in the direction of a huge collection of templates you can have for free and edit any way you desire. They will also allow you to instantly install blogs/forums/ and much much more. Their support is highly personalized and they definitely won't let you down! Also, they don't oversell like Bluehost does. Their servers are super fast and highly reliable! http://www.hostamina.com You should avoid hosts that offer "unlimited" space/bandwidth as this is somewhat of a scam. You should also avoid hosts that offer ridiculous amounts of space/bandwidth, such as 10GB space for only $5/month. Hosts like this overload and oversell servers, and are bad news for anyone who wants reliability. You should also avoid answers here that send you to review sites, as those sites make money off commissions and rank hosts based on how much money they'll get paid, not on how good they are. You should avoid answers here that look like they are affiliate links as well, for the same reason.
