- Create sites that give people good content for free and then put your ads or links in that relate to the topics.
- There is a blog out there called"blogging to the bank" and therre is also a product called the same thing. Just type that title into google to find out information about making money with your blog. I just got an email today that "blogging to the bank 3.0" is a new product and it seems like something worth looking into. People in this program are making over $3000 a month with their blogs. My tip to you is when your blog starts to receive traffic start selling advertising space to places like"buysellads" "adbrite" "blogads" and if you start to get thousands of visitors every month then sell space to "traffic." These are all great places to sell advertising space. Hope this helps
- I would propose the following: CJ and ClickBank: Create small niche related websites and then market it via organic search. Use social media, participate in forums related to your niche. Basically, add value to others. Create separate pages (with noindex - so that search engines don't crawl the page) for PPC advertisements like Google AdWords. I suggest that you use paid advertising only after you gain more experience. AdSense: Create a website or blog related to your niche, post interesting and original content. Do keyword research and make sure that the keywords appear in the titles of your articles. Good luck :)
- Hi, I run a profitable affiliate marketing suite of websites using CJ, clickbank, and adsense. I also use amazon. It's definitely worth the effort. However, it is a lot more work than most people realize. Most of the answers above so far point to creating niche sites. That is honestly the only way to go anymore. Be sure to really focus. Don't just setup a website about weight loss. Create one that focuses on a specific weight loss program and it's benefits. Many affiliate marketers now setup hundreds of sites, each one laser targeted to a specific product. The first thing you need to do is research a product you want to promote. Look at the competition, determine the demand online, and see if you can find a unique selling point. Next you want to do keyword research. You want to find keywords that are searched for thousands of times per month, yet have very little competition in terms of advertisers and other websites that cover the niche. The best free tool right now is google itself. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal There are complete courses on how to do this, but in a nutshell, look for keywords that have at least 5000 phrase match searches and less that 50,000 competing websites. To determine the number of competing websites, simply type the keyword in quotes in the google search bar. Like this "dog training books". Look in the upper right corner and you'll see the number of results. In this case 80,700. This means there are 80,700 web pages that refer to that keyword. There are plenty of automated tools that will do this in bulk and range in prices from $10 - $????. For now, just do it manually until you get the hang of it. That way you will make a better decision when you decide to purchase such a tool. Once you've determined a keyword phrase that you feel you can compete in, buy the domain name with those keywords in the domain. This is very important initially, as google seems to give new sites a little boost in the rankings. So in this example you would buy dogtrainingbooks.com (taken of course). Another key point in buying a domain name is only buy .com, .org, .net (in that order). Don't use dashes and totally avoid .info and other extensions. Again, there is a ton of research behind this rule of thumb that I can't get into. Now that you have your domain name, you will need to host it. I personally use hostgator.com. Once that's setup, I recommend setting up a wordpress blog. This is easily done in the cpanel of hostgator through a menu called fantastico. Now you need to learn about seo, plugins, and marketing. A good starting point is visiting forums dedicated to internet marketers. I regularly visit http://warriorforum.com and http://forums.digitalpoint.com my username is rob6188 if you'd like to shoot me a pm. I have to warn you though, these forums are frequently visited by spammers and crooks looking for newbies to steal money from. So be very careful, don't believe everything you read. Look for posts that are rated highly and posts by members who've been there a long time to start with. Once you get a feel for quality posts, you'll be able to spot the junk. Each topic - seo, plugins, article marketing, - will have volumes of books written. The free ones I recommend can be found at http://seobook.com and http://freebusinesskit.com If you're really new to affiliate marketing, I hope I've given a few stepping stones. I've been doing this for 9 years, and I still learn something new almost daily. The single most important thing I can tell you as a newbie is don't spend any money beyond your domain name registration and hosting. Get as much free stuff and advice as you can. Like asking questions here and in the forums. I can't tell you how many people fall victim to purchasing ebooks and tools and never really learn to use them properly and give up. You need to build a foundation of knowledge so you can make an informed decision when purchasing the latest and greatest ebooks and tools. I hope that helps. Feel free to email me if you have any other question.
