Affiliate Marketing-How to start?

So I really want to get into affiliate marketing just for a part-time income. Problem is every where I look I can't seem to find a newbie help line/guide. I have NO expereince with websites or what not and I am considering buying "Affiliate Cash Secrets" becasue I have heard it is a great newbie guide. My question is how can I get started and setup?Will be very grateful for answer.

Check your library on subject. You can do affiliate marketing, but still have to have a way to get people to your weblsite, I am looking into same thing.
there are affiliate marketing companies that you don't need experience with websites. You can do direct link, where you just place ads on the affiliates behalf and if they generate revenue you get your cut. What they do is give you a code to put in your direct link so they can track you conversions and hits etc. One company you can do this with it clickbank, you can do direct linking to the affiliate offers and it can be track through a code what revenues you generate. This can be an easy, fast way to get the experience of affiliate marketing. I have heard of people making 7 figures from this form, but for most people it may be easier to actually have a website.
Do not buy any guides. I am sorry, some of those are written very well, but you cannot learn affiliate marketing from any books. I even paid for expensive training and they did not teach me anything! Uh...Anyways in November I signed up with wealthy affiliates and that is where I learned my trade :) I am full time eBay affiliate now and have a free basic training if you want to go that route, but if not I strongly suggest you sign up with them plus you will get personal assistance from me on anything you may need! My business costs me around $50/month and I am making good money. It is not excellent yet, but I am hoping to average around 5K by this summer... 3 major sites up and 2 small. I am stay at home mom so I spend around 35 hours a week working on this, but I love it! So don't waste your money please, WA is place to go...You will learn your trade with them because they have 8 week training for us beginners and constant help. They even offer their site rubix free website tool and free hosting. Before you spend some cash, check-out SFI mktg group. I was on the same boat a few monhts ago, then I stumbled in to thier website.
