1. Isn't it your job to know this, being the soon-to-be shop owner? Open up in an urban area - more rural areas don't tend to provide as much traffic (something you will need in your industry). Where should you market? I don't understand the question. As far as ads? Newspaper, and a store window telling people what it is...that's about all you can do in puritan America.
2. Location should be near to where people go with easy parking. You can market your business with a website, write a article and send it into your local news paper and news. You can network with weekly news letters in and around your community and even put a billboard up. You can put flyer's up at adult book stores, adult dance clubs and any place else where people who would be interested in looking sexy.
