Legal issues associated with starting an online used clothing store?

I'm a huge thrift store junky, and I'd really like to take something that I love and make some money instead of just spending it. If I were to buy name brand clothing from thrift stores and sell it online (obviously marketing it as used) are there any legal issues I'd need to address? Also, what if I wanted to again buy from the thrift store, but alter the clothing.. like say with the jeans being a new wash, what would if any the legal issues be with this? Is this all fine as long as I don't market it as my own creation? What if I didn't market the altered clothing as my own creation, but put an added tag of my own in for advertising? Thanks for anyone who can help me figure this out.

1. there are no legal issues that i know of. and you can create a FREE website at http://www.webs.com/ but when you go there you will first need to make an account which is free
2. I did this for several years off of Ebay. It is a great format for this type of business. It is cheap overall and they customer base is already there. Go Ebay for this type of thing.
