Home based business/ mlm statistics?

Anyone know the general statistics for the amount of people who are joining a home based business or mlm... per day, per month? I did some Google searches but I was finding any numbers or percentages. I'm looking for recent stats, like 2009, 2010... * most sites list stats for SMALL businesses, but that generally means offline. I''m looking for HOME BASED or online/ mlm specifics!! 1. Even if you do find any numbers they are just guesses. There are so many home based businesses and MLM companies out there that are flying under the radar. The guesses you'll find will vary so much that they are pretty much useless. The Direct Selling Association www.dsa.org might be able to give you the most accurate stats on MLM, but even then it's just an educated guess because most MLM companies aren't members. The SBA sba.gov may be able to provide some stats too, but once again it's just an educated guess.
