Can I trust that company that supposedly stops you from getting paper junk mail?
This may seem like a stupid question, but you know that company, the DMA (Direct Marketing Association), the company that is supposed to remove your name from the junk mail list. What keeps them from doing something shady with your information? How can we trust they don't give our information out to other companies?

- Of course, in this day and age, it is hard to know who to trust. But, if you are willing to trust government (at least on something like this), check out the government link regarding this stuff: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt063.shtm Not only do they provide links on whom to contact to stop junk mail, email, etc., but there is a bunch of stuff onthe bottom to complain if something bad happens. A little bit of extra protection.
