How to build your own affiliate marketing program?

I would like to own a online company, but I don't want too share it. Can you build/make your own affiliate marketing program, and is it difficult? Can you hire someone to help your build it? I Live in Perth,Australia; so could it least be some help and stuff in Australia! But I'm open to any other answers! Thanks!!!

2. First of all don't listen to rubbish like William's answer. 3% of the search engines??? You can do anything if you have the money. What do you mean don't want to share it? As you have very little to bring to the table how do you think you will do that?
3. Hi! Sure, if you have something, a product or service to sell, you can pay people (affiliates) to promote it for you. You can hire people to help with almost anything these days. But if money is an issue, you can always start as an affiliate for someone else. You can earn commissions while you learn how it all works. Then you can branch out with your own product. There too, you can pay someone to create a product for you or do it yourself. Being an affiliate can be a good way to make money online. 4. Yes. Create you own product(s) which you can do in less than a day (It's the way you want to start out). Go to places like Tradebit, Warrior Forum and Clickbank to distribute them. CB has it's own built in affiliate program as does Tradebit so you wouldn't have to do anything. You should understand that you can't just decide to own an online business and expect success without having a lot of time, perserverance and knowledge (and in some cases money). PLR (Private Label Rights) is probably a good place for you to start. There are many books explaining how it works. I hope this is helpful.

You can build an affiliate program within your site, you can get a ready made affiliate management scripts, software. You can hire a freelancer to build an affiliate program. But after that came the hard part which is to promote your affiliate program and start having affiliates, then train them and show them how to promote your products and services. My suggestion will be that instead of doing all this with too much money to invest, it will be better to start putting your website (with your products) with an affiliate network like CJ or ClickBank. There you will show your products to affiliates who are already working in this business and with no investment at all. The affiliates of the network will start promote your products and make you money, but with this case you must build a highly converting site, and give a high commission like 50%.
