I heard about a lot of people making small extra cash using Multi-Level Marketing sites online. How does it work and is it worth it??

I've been involved in & out of MLM or network marketing for over 20 years now & I can tell you one thing for sure: Whatever anyone tells you, don't be duped; you won't make any money unless you work at it & develop a good base of users/buyers/networkers. Having said this, there are numerous "scams" out there that promise the moon, stars and what not by almost doing nothing -- never forget that nothing comes from nothing... you have to work at it. Yes, this is a way to make a good part-time income which, with can become a bigger residual income with time but again, you need to work at it to make it work!! basically you'll be crowd pulling. when you create a base of people that are lucrative from advertisers/marketers' perspective thats when you can make money from ad/marketing promotion campaigns that you can direct at this captive base. You could make money from these people signing up for things, opting in for things, enrolling in memberships or getting more people into the fold for you. hope this helps. PS. this is wicked hard and requires insane effort, time and passion for it to work for you.
Depends on your abilities. You will be selling and mainly trying to attract more marketers who will in theory pass money to you and you pass on to others above you. What I would say though is if you are going to have a business whether to earn an extra income or with the goal of making yourself serious cash -do you really want to work that hard to make all the people above you in the upper levels rich? Start your own business and give the rewards to yourself and your family. You will be at the bottom of a large pile of people. Not a great business model in my book.

OK, so of course everyone on here is trying to get you to visit their sites and sign up with them right? Just make sure if you do multi-level marketing, it is something you are interested in. Because you could lose some money if you aren't 100% into it. It also usually costs some money to start up. Multi-level marketing is like a pyramid. One person tries to recruit people to place into a left leg and a right leg below them. Then they keep adding more and more people below. It is true, the people at the top will make the most money, because they tend get rewarded for having more people below them. But here's the thing. If you actually work at it, and get people interested and working below you, you can start making money as well. The pyramid could go on and on.....so the more people you recruit, the more money you should make. I actually do multi-level marketing. I recently did some research on this, and I have talked to a lot of people who have had successes and some people who hated it. I found that in order to be successful, you really need to be interested in what you are marketing. Currently I am a Beachbody coach, beacuse I love motivating people and I am trying to keep myself healthy and fit. It cost me 39.95 to start (which is cheaper than most MLM companies) and I know Beachbody does tons of marketing themselves (have you ever seen the p90x , slim in 6, insanity, etc. commercials? That's Beachbody) and they are very well-known, which ups my chances of making sales or getting others interested.
