I need someone to help with website and seo marketing!?

I have a website which is doing well but I think it could always do better. I have promoted it locally and using google adwords and have submitted it on various website etc but I need further help to build it up so it appears in search engines etc. I have recently had a lot of phone calls from flashy companies offering their services for £100 a month which is a lot and I dont fully trust them as they have a bad reputation once Ive googled the companies name. All I want is someone to help with keywords, search engines etc. The website is designed well and has a good layout so that isnt a problem but I just need help with all the technical bits as I have limited skills but understand some of the basics. If there is anyone out there that can help or advise me how to do it or on a low cost company then I would be really grateful. thanks x

I would suggest looking at the following sites. 2. use online SEO forums and SEO blogs, you will learn a lot of useful tips there.
3. If you feel you need help with it consider posting the job on http://www.odesk.com/w/.. You can set the price your willing to pay and review the applicants skill levels and test results before hiring someone. Their work history and reviews will also be there so you can get some idea of what type of worker they are before you make a commitment. It doesn't cost you anything to look.
